This hotel has been skilfully designed to take advantage of its sheltered position. The guest rooms and suites are set behind the reception, piano bar and restaurant terraces which lead down to the pool and secluded rocky cove with sun decks.

All the rooms have a furnished terrace or balcony (some with sea views) with a small table and chairs, en suite shower room, air conditioning, telephone, WiFi, TV, minibar, safe, hairdryer, beach towels and adult bathrobes (tea set available on request).

An elaborate buffet breakfast is served on the terrace accompanied by live harp music or in the guests rooms (supplement).

Gli Olivastri restaurant offers dinner located on shaded terraces nestled amongst olive and juniper trees, providing the perfect setting for an intimate al fresco dinner focussed on local cuisine with show cooking and table service (please note that table service may be replaced with a buffet at the managements discretion). Guests can enjoy aperitifs and after dinner drinks at the piano bar located on the adjacent terrace close to the sea and there is live music on some evenings.

Alternatively, guests may make a reservation at one of the hotels other restaurants (supplements apply):

Il Paguro with views over Cala Capra beach and marina, is renowned for the elegant ambience, table service and quality of the a la carte cuisine with an open grill and a selection of fresh fish on the menu.

Ile Flottante offers the opportunity to dine on a floating pontoon over the water serving specialities from the chef (on reservation, supplement).

Pizzeria L’Approdo has a wood burning oven and offers a casual setting for an informal dinner.

Room service is available on request (extra cost).

Gluten free and lactose free meals are available on request when booking.

The hotel is approached via a private road leading to the marina, picturesque beach and the hotel. Steps lead through Mediterranean style gardens to the reception offering information about the hotel, the local area and excursions. Doors lead to the bar, restaurant and al fresco dining terraces and steps lead up to the accommodation, which is arranged in stepped terraces.

The seawater swimming pool is nestled under the shade of the wild olive trees with paths leading down to the rocks with wooden sun decks and sunbeds arranged on the sea front and there is a small shaded outdoor fitness area with cardio equipment. Accessed via paths through the Mediterranean gardens with superb sea views are the Suites, Spa & Thalasso centre, Cala Selvaggia beach (no services) and 9 hole golf driving range pitch and putt par 27, putting course and simulator (green fees, golf lessons and golf club rental extra cost, on request).

The hotel has its own marina with daily boat trips (extra cost) on the Pulcinella sailing ship to the neighbouring beautiful islands and and motorboat half day and full day trips to the islands and Corsica and RIB hire. Adjacent is a lovely beach with complimentary sunbeds on decks and a shaded grassy area.

The hotel runs a scheduled shuttle service into Palau once a day at set times (extra cost, not Saturdays).

There is free unattended parking as well as a garage (on request, extra cost) and charging stations for electric vehicles (power 22kw, extra cost).

Tennis courts are available 1.5km away and a sailing school, boat hire, scuba diving and sport fishing available locally (all extra cost).

L’Incantu Thalasso & Spa offers two open air seawater spa pools of differing temperatures with fabulous sea views, Turkish bath, jacuzzi, health and beauty cabins for thalasso treatments and massage and relax area with sunbeds by the sea.

Please note: Entrance to the spa centre is €55pp for about 2 hours. It is open 6 days a week.   A health self-certification is required to have treatments and to use the spa facilities. Specific programmes for pregnant ladies (some treatments might be excluded). Access only for 14 years+ if accompanied by parents or with a written parental consent. Opening is at discretion of the Management.

1 free entrance per person (on reservation) to the ‘L’Incantu’ Wellness Centre with use of the al fresco heated seawater multifunction Thalasso pools with hydro massage jets, Turkish bath and relax area by the sea. Plus, a welcome bottle in the room, a Delphina souvenir gift and a typical Sardinian silver wedding ring for the couple. 

Please note: Offer applies to stays within 12 months of the wedding (for anniversaries within one month of the original date and within a year for silver and golden weddings). For defacto couples the date of formalisation will be accepted. A document indicating the date of marriage or formalization will need to be shown at the hotel. Available for the couple only. Minimum stay 7 nights.

Hotel Capo d’Orso is situated on the headland of the Gulf of Arzachena, with Cala Capra and Cala Selvaggia beaches on either side.

There are wonderful sea views to Baia Sardinia with the Costa Smeralda beyond and to the islands of La Maddalena and Caprera. Capo d’Orso itself towers high above the hotel with ‘Bear Rock’ being a strategic landmark of this area, which can be reached by a steep path for far reaching views of the Maddalena Islands and to Corsica on a clear day.

The vibrant town and port of Palau is just 4km away with a selection of shops, weekly market, good restaurants and regular ferries to La Maddalena Island.
