Rome
The Eternal City is full to bursting with history, culture and jaw dropping architecture. Italy’s capital city is a must see for any art lover, culture vulture or foodie. You really do feel like you are walking through history and around every corner there is another gem waiting to be discovered. A city like no other - 117 small islands located in the Venetian Lagoon and hosting marble palaces, the imposing Basilica di San Marco, multiple museums, churches, theatres and piazzas, charming back streets, home to many restaurants, separated by canals and connected with bridges. The whole city is listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site and it is not hard to see why! This floating city is a feast for the eyes and the mind and one of the most romantic destinations in the world.
florence
Considered the birthplace of the Renaissance, Florence is overflowing with art and culture and home to a host of galleries and museums such as the Uffizi Gallery and the Palazzo Pitti and of course it’s most famous landmark the Duomo. This riverside city is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and the most populated city in the region of Tuscany.
pisa
Famed mainly for its Leaning Tower, Pisa has much more to offer its visitors than just an architectural mishap. It is a bustling city with a vibrant cafe and bar scene and home to one of Italy’s most prestigious universities. This small but perfectly formed city also hosts an enviable collection of well-maintained Romanesque buildings, Gothic churches and Renaissance piazzas.

There are flights from many regional airports in the UK to mainland Italy with airlines such as easyJet, Ryanair and BA and onward to Sardinia with ITA Airways and Volotea.

elba
Elba is the third biggest Italian island after Sicily and Sardinia, but only 224km2 in area with 150km of coastline with many beautiful, sandy beaches, cliffs and coves bordering a crystalline sea.
The countryside is green and fertile, particularly in the west which is overlooked by Monte Capanne (1,019m) and known as the ‘Roof of the Tuscan Archipelago’. Visit our Elba page.
