Borgo Sixeri is an attractive development of small villas and apartments situated up on the hillside above Monte Sixeri, enjoying wonderful views over the countryside and to Alghero town and bay.

The Accommodation

Borgo Sixeri Farm Residence comprises of 2 villinos, which are small villas and 14 bungalow style apartments, attractively decorated and furnished in Sardinian style. Due to their position, they enjoy panoramic views over the countryside to Alghero town with the sea in the distance.

All the villinos and apartments have air conditioning/heating, shower room with washing machine, iron and ironing board, lounge with table and chairs, kitchen area with fridge, electric oven, gas hob and units with crockery, cutlery, glassware and kitchen implements, satellite TV (news channels only in English), WiFi, safe and doors leading onto a furnished terrace with barbecue.

Borgo Sixeri Villinos

Villino (35m², sleeping up to 4) two small individual stone built villas with air conditioning/heating, one double bedroom, lounge with double or 2 single sofa beds, dining table and chairs and shower or bathroom. Patio doors lead onto a terrace furnished with table and chairs and built in barbecue, enjoying lovely views.

Borgo Sixeri Apartments

There are 14 stone built terraced bungalows or two storey apartments, arranged in 3 different areas. Each attractively decorated and furnished in Sardinian style. Due to their hillside position, they enjoy panoramic views over the countryside to Alghero town with the sea in the distance. They vary in style and layout to suit individual requirements and some interconnect to offer larger 2 and 3 bedroom accommodation (sleeping 6/10) with 2 bath or shower rooms:

1 Bedroom Apartment (40m², sleeps 4) double bedroom with 2 single sofa beds on one level

2 Bedroom Apartment (65m², sleeps 4/6) 2 bedrooms (1 double and 1 twin) and a double sofa bed arranged on 1 (on request) or 2 floors

3 Bedroom Apartment (95-100m², sleep 6/8) 2 double bedrooms, 1 twin bedroom and a double sofa bed arranged on 2 floors

4 Bedroom Apartment (130m², sleep 8/10) 2 double and 2 twin bedrooms plus a double sofa bed on two floors

The Facilities

Arranged in the gardens are 2 freshwater swimming pools and a sun terrace with sunbeds and parasols for the residence to share. A parking space is allocated next to each apartment for convenience. Agriturismo Le Pinnette (farm restaurant) is situated at the bottom of the hill, past the pigs and wild boar grazing in the fields.

The Local Area

This delightful development offers different styles of small villinos and apartments to suit couples, families and friends alike, sleeping 2-10 people. It would also be suitable for groups for a holiday, party or wedding with the very good agriturismo restaurant at the bottom of the hill.

It is a perfect location to unwind and enjoy the peace and quiet of the countryside and wonderful far reaching views. Alghero town, port and beaches are within easy reach by car and it is just 8km to the airport.

Car hire is essential for provisions, eating out and seeing more of the local area.
