I don't have one negative thing to say about the hotel. We went full board and it was the right decision. Lunch and dinner starters were the same throughout our stay but they were excellent quality so it didn't really matter. If you want something different, you can always go downstairs to the Casablanca restaurant. Staff bent over backwards to keep guests happy. Location is great - a public beach with white sand is directly opposite the hotel. If you fancy a spot of paddle boarding or would like to take a boat out, it's right there for you. I have been to Costa Smeralda twice before and this is by far the best hotel in terms of value for money and the location.

Rustic, character and charm - one downside only was the efficiency of the air con - functional but not excellent. The staff in all areas were superb and couldn't do enough for you! Mealtimes were a highlight with excellent choices and advice imparted by the Restaurant Management and their team.

The rooms are decorated and furnished in traditional Sardinian style, some with amazing sea views (supplement, highly recommended). All the guest rooms have a balcony or terrace, en suite bath and/or shower room, air conditioning, satellite TV, telephone, safe, WiFi, hairdryer and beach towels provided. Minibar and room service (extra cost).

Club Hotel offers high quality dining and impeccable service under the direction of the superb Maitre d' Giulio. Here, Chef Fabio Sessini, transforms high-quality, seasonally conscious local ingredients into tasty and innovative dishes, giving you an authentic taste of Mediterranean cuisine.

Bouganville Restaurant is a classic hotel restaurant with large windows overlooking the sea located on the 2nd floor of the hotel (open from April to early June and from late September to closing). The Miramare Restaurant has an al fresco terrace (open June - September) with wonderful views over the beach and sea. Both restaurants offer a buffet style breakfast and 4 course dinner featuring Sardinian specialities with a mix of buffets and table service 

Casablanca Wine Bar (extra cost) offers drinks (10am-1am) and a summer menu (6-11pm), where you can  admire the view while relaxing to the beat of live music (Jun-Sept).

Adjacent to the reception  there is a lounge with American bar and terrace overlooking the beach and sea.

The hotel has a 24 hour reception offering hotel and local information, concierge, laundry and babysitting service (extra cost). A lift services the main building. Mountain bikes are available from the hotel (on request, free of charge, subject to availability) and boat trips and excursions can be arranged (extra cost). There is a lift available in the main building.

The hotel is set up above Baia Sardinia's main beach with sunbeds and parasols available to hire (extra cost 01/06-30/09, first row €40, second row €35, third row €25 and forth row €20).  A further small beach is located approximately 200m from the main hotel building, accessed by a path with complimentary sunbeds and parasols for hotel guests (subject to availability). There are tennis courts, playground, scuba diving centre and jet ski rental nearby (extra cost).

Baia Sardinia is a beautiful seaside resort looking out to Caprera Island, with a white sandy beach and turquoise sea surrounded by villas, hotels and a lively piazza with shops, café bars and restaurants. There are watersports available on the beach and boat trips out to the islands to really appreciate the beauty of this coastline. Aquadream Waterpark for children is located just out of the town.
