Calaserena Resort

The resort features a range of 2 and 3 storey buildings with modern, comfortable rooms with the sleeping areas refurbished in 2024, surrounded by pine trees and gardens. All rooms have air conditioning, en suite shower room, WiFi, satellite TV, minibar, (kettle on request), safe, hairdryer and furnished terrace or balcony.

Classic Rooms: Ideal for 2 guests on ground floor, 1st floor (no balcony) or balcony rooms on 1st or 2nd floor.

Superior Rooms: Ground floor suitable for 3 guests with a double and single bed.

Superior Quadruple: Spacious ground-floor rooms for up to 4 guests, with a double bed and pull-out sofa for the 3rd and 4th guests.

Classic Connecting Rooms (on request) : Two interconnecting Classic rooms, each with en-suite shower room, accommodating 4–6 guests (ground floor) or up to 4 guests with balcony on 1st or 2nd floor.

Suites: 32–35m²: Ground floor or balcony suites for up to 4 guests with double bed, living area with sofa bed or chaise-longue, kettle, espresso machine, mini-bar, Sky TV and daily beach towels. Suite guests enjoy access to the exclusive La Brezza restaurant (22/06-6/09).

Enjoy traditional Italian flavours, regional specialties and international dishes at Calaserena Resort, with daily show cooking. The resort features a main air-conditioned buffet restaurant with shaded Patio, plus a selection of speciality restaurants available 6 days a week including Il Gusto (dinner only with table service, on reservation, open July & August only) and Le Onde near the beach (buffet). Suite guests also have access to the exclusive La Brezza restaurant (22/06-6/09) for buffet breakfast and a la carte dinner. For a beachside lunch, try a Sea Box under your parasol. Reservations apply per room, and in bad weather, dining moves to the main restaurant.

Il Gusto and Le Onde Restaurants: All Inclusive: 2 accesses per week.

Children in the Mini Club, Teen Club and Young Club (2/06-6/09) can have lunch with new holiday friends in the company of the activity staff.

Baby Kitchen: Dedicated kitchen for children 0-3yrs to prepare baby food, open from 6am to midnight and assistance at main mealtimes and a variety of staple foods, both to be cooked and ready-made.

Bars: Relax anytime with drinks at one of the resort bars, in the piazzetta and on the beach, perfect for cocktails, drinks and light snacks throughout the day.

Calaserena’s all-inclusive package offers incredible value including:

• Full board with buffet-style meals, water and wine with meals
• Unlimited drinks including espresso coffee, syrups, draught beer, wines, sparkling wines, prosecco and liqueurs from the bar (gin, rum, vodka, bitters, whiskey, brandy, grappa), cocktails, aperitifs, sandwiches and toast, aperitif snacks (excluding packaged products and premium products).
• Soft drinks on tap (cola, cola zero, orangeade, peach iced tea, lemon iced tea, fruit juices), lemon and mint slushies (slushies not available at the La Brezza restaurant), teas and coffee from machines.
• The main restaurant serves morning buffet breakfast with coffee and hot drinks from dispensers or coffee machines. At lunch and dinner, dishes are freshly prepared by chefs with show cooking. Or choose from one of the speciality restaurants, subject to availability: 2 accesses per week to Il Gusto and Le Onde restaurants. Children from the Mini Club, Teen Club and Young Club (2/6-6/9) can have lunch with their new holiday friends in the company of the activity staff.

Tennis, padel, five-a-side football, archery, table tennis, bocce shooting ranges and horse riding.

Covered fitness area with isotonic machines, dumbbells, spinning bikes, balance board, strength development rope and group gymnastics plus classes including yoga, zumba, tai chi stretch, Dance the Hits, acquagym, Nordic walking, jump fitness on the trampoline. Assistance of qualified instructors at scheduled times.

Group classes and individual lessons in swimming, sailing, tennis and archery are offered (up to 6/9). Individual and group windsurfing and sailing courses are also available.

Officially recognised as a Child-Friendly Holiday destination by the National Federation of Paediatricians, children and teens enjoy age-appropriate clubs with expert staff and daily activities including:

Baby Daycare (12–36 months): Supervised nursery care (14/7-6/9).

Serenino Club (3–5 yrs): Creative play, workshops, and mini dance shows.

SereninoPiù (6–9 yrs): Outdoor adventures, slime and cupcake workshops, sports.

SerenUp (10–13 yrs): Sports, sailing, football academy, and Pirate Night under the stars.

SerenHappy (14–17 yrs): Teen activities, aperitivo evenings and sports tournaments.

There are also mini riding lessons, swimming classes and circus skills workshops.

Coccinella Baby Care Package (extra cost for under 3yrs): In your room you will find: cot, changing table, baby toilet seat adapter (on request), bottle warmer, baby bath, linen set and Baby Kit with baby toiletries. Access to the Baby Kitchen and high chair at the restaurant. 

Bluwellness Spa offers 3 jacuzzi pools, massages, facials, body treatments, sports and holistic therapies, customised wellness programmes  (all extra cost). The resort also features a modern fitness area with extensive equipment and classes including yoga, tai chi and jump fitness sessions for those wanting to stay active.
 

At Calaserena Resort, guests can enjoy a superb All-Inclusive experience designed for comfort, fun, and relaxation. While the All-Inclusive package at Calaserena Resort covers a wide range of meals, drinks, activities, and entertainment, certain items are not included:

Premium drinks and beverages such as top-shelf spirits or bottled wines may incur an additional charge. 

Some à la carte dining options, including the exclusive La Brezza restaurant for non-suite guests, require booking and extra cost. 

Individual or private sports lessons, sailing, windsurfing courses and certain excursions are available for an extra cost. 

Extra beach services beyond the standard parasol and sun lounger allocation, as well as additional beach towel changes, also require a supplement. 

Services such as medical consultations outside scheduled hours, baby equipment rental and certain special activities (pony rides, private tours and exclusive workshops) are not included and are payable locally.

Calaserena Resort enjoys a prime location in Maracalagonis, just 30km from Cagliari and 20km from Villasimius on the south east tip of Sardinia. The area is famous for its refreshingly unspoilt scenery, beautiful beaches and very turquoise sea, such as Geremeas, Solanas, and those in Villasimius. The nearby Sarrabus region offers scenic drives, archaeological sites and charming Sardinian villages to explore.

The town of Villasimius has an array of shops, supermarkets, restaurants, pizzerias and of course gelaterias. The headland of Capo Carbonara has a harbour and old fortress up on the headland and there is a double bay with fine white sand on one side and granulated sand on the other. There are boat trips out to the islands of Cavoli and Serpentara with an abundance of marine life. Costa Rei is about 17km further on to the north via a stunning scenic drive with numerous beautiful bays en route. 

Cagliari is Sardinia’s capital city and centre for commerce and industry. It is the gateway to the beautiful, relatively unspoilt, southern coastline and flanked by the beautiful Poetta Beach and bay, popular for international sailing events. The city is characterised by colourful medieval architecture, central Castello and atmospheric port with ‘passeggiata’. There are interesting streets lined with shops and restaurants, the National Archaeological Museum, art galleries and monuments tracing the island’s history.
