The Apartment Accommodation
The owner has taken great care to convert the buildings on his farmland into spacious, rustic style apartments. There are 5 individually designed apartments with different layouts to suit individual requirements. They all have air conditioning/heating, well equipped kitchens (including fridge freezer, oven and hob), lounge with table and chairs, satellite TV (news channels only in English) and shower room with washing machine. Each apartment has a terrace area with outside seating and they are all conveniently positioned near to the pool and gardens. Pool towels are available (pre-book, extra cost).
Studio apartment: Double bed plus small single sofa bed, suitable for 2/3 guests.
1 bedroom apartments: Double bedroom plus separate lounge with either two roller beds for up to 3/4 guests, or one double sofa bed and 2 roller beds in the lounge for up to 6 guests.
2 bedroom apartments: on the first floor with balcony with 2 bedrooms sleeping up to 4 guests or on the ground floor with 2 bedrooms plus a sofa bed in the lounge for up to 6 guests.
The Facilities
Bordered by lemon and fig trees and flanked by the adjoining vineyard is the freshwater swimming pool, inset with hydro massage jets. There is a sun terrace to relax in the tranquillity of the surrounding countryside.
Only a few metres stroll away is Agriturismo Le Pinnette (farm restaurant), which offers a traditional Sardinian set menu for lunch and dinner, with an outside covered dining terrace adjoining a lawned play park.
Just Sardinia guests receive a 15% discount on the Tasting menu price.
Guests can walk past the sheep and pigs up to the top of the hill to the Borgo Sixeri Farm Residence, at the back of the farmland. From this high vantage point, there are spectacular views of the fertile plains and vineyards that give Fertilia its name, all the way to Alghero with the sea glittering in the distance.
All apartments have internet access (extra cost €30 per week or €10 per day).

Fertilia & Alghero
Fertilia is situated on the coast, with a few shops, small supermarket, café bars, gelateria and pizzerias, just 4km from the residence. There are a couple of lovely beaches nearby on the way to Porto Conte.
The town and port of Alghero is approximately 8km away, buzzing all year round, with the old town cobbled streets hosting an array of café bars, gelaterias, restaurants and shops. There are daily boat trips from the port to Capo Caccia and Neptune’s Caves and a white sandy beach that stretches all the way out to Fertilia, approximately 5km.

These charming apartments have been lovingly restored and brought to life by the landowners, who also run the agriturismo (farm) restaurant next door, produce their own olive oil and farm their own land. All the necessities have been thought of to make your holiday here relaxing and enjoyable. With Alghero approximately 10 minutes drive away, guests can benefit from the tranquillity of the countryside yet are within easy reach of this thriving seaside resort. Car hire is essential.
