Once again, Georgie Twigg MBE 2016 Rio Olympics Gold Medallist and 2x Olympians Dan Fox are heading up the coaching offering an amazing opportunity for boys and girls aged 8-14 years to receive elite hockey coaching from International Star Hockey Players whilst enjoying a wonderful family holiday at the world's this fantastic resort on the beautiful north east coast of Sardinia.

Park Hotel & Spa Cala di Lepre
Superbly situated on the beautiful north east coast of Sardinia, this family friendly hotel benefits from wonderful sea views to Baia Sardinia and the Costa Smeralda beyond. The resort is spread out on the hillside with a large pool with bar and lunchtime restaurant, resort buffet restaurant, piano bar, spa with al fresco pools, rocky coastline, small beach and boat trips to the Maddalena islands, ideal for snorkelling and swimming.
It is great for families with Mini and Junior Clubs 7 days a week (19/05 – 13/09) for children aged between 3 and 14 years to come and go from 9:30am – 11pm.
The Mini Club has a playpark and shaded area and the Junior Club has a range of activities including tennis, beach volleyball, 5-a-side football, archery and dancing. There is a riding school with complimentary rides for children aged 8 to 14 years (19/05 – 13/09, minimum of 3 participants). Children aged 3 to 14 years may have lunch (on request, supplement for children on half board) or dinner with the child carers in a reserved area of the restaurant.

Who is the Academy suitable for?
- Girls and Boys between the ages of 9 and 14 years
- School and Hockey Club players (not beginners)
What to bring?
Hockey stick, trainers suitable for astro pitch, shin guards and gum shield. Training shirt, sports bag and water bottle will be supplied.
We strongly recommend that you and all the members of your travelling party are adequately insured with travel and medical cover as soon as you book your holiday.
For those taking part in the Hockey Academy, please also check with your travel insurer that your child is covered whilst taking part in a non-competitive sports academy and also make sure that their EHIC is up to date.

Dan Fox England & Team GB, 2x Olympian
Dan Fox made his international debut in 2009 competing for the Great Britain national team at the London 2012 & Rio 2016 Summer Olympics. During the England and Great Britain defender's international career, he represented England 101 times, Great Britain 63 times and competed in the 2014 World Cup and 2014 Commonwealth Games. In 2017, he won Hockey Writers Club UK Player of the Year award.
Georgie Twigg MBE Rio Olympic 2016 Gold Medallist
Georgie Twigg MBE was the youngest member of the Great Britain women’s bronze medal winning London 2012 Olympic team and helped Great Britain to a gold medal at the 2016 Olympics in Rio. Georgie has played for England and Great Britain since 2010, including bronze medals at the 2010 Delhi Commonwealth Games and at the 2010 Argentina World Cup, silver medals at the 2014 Glasgow Commonwealth Games and at the 2012 Champions Trophy in Argentina. She was named England Hockey's Young Performance Player of the Year in 2010, 2011, 2012 & 2013.
We are delighted to be running the 3rd ProSticks Hockey Academy at Park Hotel & Spa Cala di Lepre in May Half Term 2019. This will enable budding young hockey players to combine hockey coaching from Team GB Hockey Stars with a fantastic holiday at Cala di Lepre on the beautiful north east coast of Sardinia with a range of activities and entertainment for all the family! Cala di Lepre offers family friendly accommodation, an elaborate buffet restaurant, wonderful Spa with al fresco spa pools, fantastic Children's Club adjacent to the pool and sports facilities including tennis, 5-a-side football, archery, horse riding and there are boat trips, boat hire, scuba diving, sport fishing also available. There are just 20 places in the Hockey Academy so early booking essential.
