The Accommodation

The accommodation comprises of 38 stylish en suite Charming rooms, 6 Suites and 6 Superior Suites each with a private pool. All the rooms have a terrace or balcony with a sea view, en suite bath and/or shower room, air conditioning, satellite TV, minibar, telephone, free WiFi and a safe. 

The Luxury Suites are located 200m above the hotel, they all have a slightly different layout and design with private pool, large terrace and sea views. They are beautifully furnished and have a double bedroom with a separate lounge area (not suitable for children under 12) with bath or shower. An à la carte menu for lunch and dinner (extra cost) can be served in your suite or alternatively guests can eat at Miraluna restaurant (on reservation, extra cost). The Luxury Suites are accessed via an uphill pathway or a complimentary shuttle service is available (on request).

Charming Sea View Room (25m² + 8-10m² terrace) refurbished double bedroom with en suite shower/bath room and furnished terrace with sea views

Suite Sea View (45m² + 15m² terrace) open plan double bedroom and separate lounge area with en suite shower room and furnished terrace with sea views (some Suites are located approximately 150m from the main building)

Superior Suite With Pool (55m² + 20m² terrace + garden) double bedroom with en suite shower room and a separate lounge, furnished terrace and a private garden with a small freshwater pool (these rooms are located approximately 150m from the main building)

Luxury Suite With Private Pool (65m² + 20m² terrace) double bedroom with en suite bath or shower room, separate lounge and a furnished terrace with a small private freshwater pool and sea views (these rooms are located approximately 200m from the main building)

Please note: Some rooms are not suitable for those with walking difficulties due to steps.

Children under 10 years old are not permitted.

The Restaurants & Bar

Miraluna Restaurant in the hotel has panoramic views from the dining terrace and offers breakfast with local delicacies, light lunch (reservation required, extra cost) and a gourmet dinner with daily specialities.

Guests on half board can alternatively 'Dine Around' and have 1 dinner at each of the following (reservation required): La Colti a local agriturismo in Cannigione serving a set menu of traditional Sardinian cuisine; Cutter Lounge & Restaurant serving a 3 course menu on an exclusive terrace overlooking the sea located in the centre of Cannigione, offering an innovative à la carte menu with refreshing salads, gourmet pizzas, delicious main courses and local dishes; Ulia Restaurant at Cascioni Eco Retreat serving a 3 course menu. 

Please note: the hotel operates a free shuttle service to these restaurants (reservation required).

Acqua di Mare Sea Deck offers guests the opportunity to enjoy a private exclusive dining experience for 2 on the waterfront with sunset aperitifs and romantic dinners for a really special evening (reservation required, extra cost).

Chiaro di Luna on the hotels private sailing yacht 'BonAria' is ideal for a romantic dinner for two whilst sailing around the beautiful local area (reservation required, extra cost).

The hotel bar has a wonderful poolside terrace and adjacent lounge.

The Facilities

The hotel has 2 swimming pools, the main outdoor seawater swimming pool has a large sun terrace with bar and wonderful sea views; the infinity pool is accessed via steps with views over the sea, gazebos and sunbeds hidden around the pool and a small bar serving cocktails, snacks and light lunches. It is possible to book a private romantic dinner or private event by the infinity pool.

The hotel offers a private deck and access to the sea just 200m from the hotel with sun beds, parasols, beach towels, lifeguard and soft drinks (all extra cost) and there is a small beach 600m away at La Conia or the Cannigione town beach is 800m away.  There is a free shuttle service to the stunning Barca Bruciata beach (2.3km away) also with reserved sunbeds and parasols (extra cost).

Villa del Golfo has its own private yacht for boat trips out to the Maddalena islands for small group excursions of up to 8 people (book locally, extra cost). The yacht is also available for a romantic dinner for 2 including a mini cruise (extra cost, pre-booking advised).

Guests can book to participate in a cooking classes and wine tastings to learn about typical regional products (on request, extra cost).

Spa Hotel

The hotel offers has a gym, indoor heated counter current swimming pool. Massages and beauty treatments are on request (extra cost). Guests also have the option of Spa treatments at Cascioni Eco Retreat (transport provided without charge).

The Local Area

This hotel stands in an enviable position enjoying panoramic views over the Gulf of Arzachena and within easy reach of the beach and town of Cannigione with a good selection of shops, weekly market, night market (high season), restaurants, pizzerias and café bars.

The hotel has a private yacht to visit the beautiful beaches on the nearby Maddalena islands, ideal for swimming and snorkelling in the clear turquoise sea. Boat trips and boat hire are also available from the port/marina.
