Chia Laguna Resort

This popular resort situated close to the beautiful bay of Chia on the south coast of Sardinia, approximately 57km from Cagliari airport, offers the choice of family accommodation in Chia Village or sophisticated and stylish hotel accommodation in an idyllic location, with complimentary Children's Clubs, 3 pools, 8 restaurants and a host of activities and entertainments.

The Chia Laguna Resort offers guests the choice of many sporting facilities for those wishing to be active or the space to relax, for couples and families alike. There is a feature swimming pool with poolside bar and two further pools set amongst the Cottage rooms.

 

A range of watersports are available from the beach including sailing, windsurfing, waterskiing, canoeing and scuba diving and other activities include five-a-side football and beach volleyball (all extra cost). The Chia Leisure Card (included in the price) entitles guests to a daily group lesson in tennis or golf, free use of the gym and pitch and putt golf course. There is also a small beauty centre for facials and massage (extra cost).

 

From the main reception, the resort operates a land train shuttle service to the beach, approximately 700m away, throughout the day. A few minutes ride takes you to the edge of the sand dunes with a decked pathway leading to the beautiful white sandy Campana beach with clear sea, ideal for swimming and snorkelling.

 

Sunbeds and parasols (free from third row), beach towels and showers are available for guests use. Le Dune restaurant and snack bar is open for lunch (extra cost,high season only). In the evening from May to September, guests can enjoy light music entertainment in the piazza whilst visiting the small boutiques, shops and gelateria.

Great for Families

There are very good facilities for families with children of all ages. There is a dedicated children’s play area with large children’s pool, shaded area, soft play area with toys, games and lots of activities and entertainments.

 

There is a complimentary Mini Club for children between 3 and 12 years old, a Junior Club for older children between 13 and 17 years old (some activities free, some extra cost) and a Nursery for babies and toddlers up to 2 years old (extra cost). Babysitting (extra cost) and complimentary Baby Welcome kit, including pushchair, cot, baby bath and baby food preparation facilities, must be pre-booked (ask our reservations team for more details).

 

The English speaking staff will arrange activities, games, sports and tournaments to keep the children happy and entertained. They will also help at meal times in the reserved area for children in the Bouganville Restaurant (lunch extra cost).

 

The Restaurants & Bars

The quality and variety of the food is a real feature and Italian, local and international cuisine can be enjoyed in the 8 different restaurants of the resort. Guests can take advantage of the dine around option in the other Chia Laguna Resort restaurants, on reservation (extra cost).

Bouganville Restaurant offering a buffet breakfast and grand buffet dinner for guests staying in Chia Village. There is a reserved area for children with a special children’s menu.

Le Terrazza Restaurant for guests staying in the Hotel Laguna with buffet style breakfast and à la carte dinner with an al fresco dining terrace with lovely views to the sea.

Pizzeria in the Piazza open in the evenings (on reservation) specialising in wood burning oven pizzas (extra cost).

Le Dune di Campana snack bar and restaurant near the beach open for lunch (extra cost) and for dinner in high season (on reservation, supplement).

Poolside snack bar open for lunch and all day for drinks (extra cost). There are 6 bars in the resort including a lounge bar, terrace bar, poolside bar, cocktail bar, beach bar, and gelateria with fine Italian ice creams.

 

There is also The Luna, a multi purpose complex which has an elegant bar, restaurant, pizzeria, deli and Panino Giusto open for lunch and dinner serving gourmet sandwiches and light options (extra cost).

 

The opening of bars, restaurants and entertainment may vary at the Management’s discretion.

Situated in the grounds of the resort are 265 Cottage rooms, decorated and furnished in traditional Sardinian style, all with en suite shower room with hairdryer, air conditioning, satellite TV (news channels only in English), minibar, safe, internet access (extra cost) and telephone.

Located in the main hotel building are 77 Superior and Deluxe guest rooms and Suites, which are decorated in a contemporary style with high quality ceramics, artwork and soft furnishings. They all have a private balcony or

A new collection of 34 light and spacious rooms with a choice of typology and commanding views over the entire resort to the sea beyond.
