| Porto Vecchio was originally a Genoese stronghold with the old town of Porto Vecchio, on the south east coast of Corsica, set on a hill overlooking its beautiful deep blue bay and yacht marina below. The ancient streets and charming square are full of little boutiques, café bars and restaurants. There are beautiful beaches at Pinerello to the north and Palombaggia and Santa Giulia to the south. |

| Propriano was originally founded in 1640 by the Genoese at the innermost point of the Gulf of Valinco, on the south west coast of Corsica. Propriano has since become a busy tourist port and town, with lovely views of the surrounding maquis covered hills and bay with turquoise sea. Palm trees fringe the charming quayside lined with inviting pavement cafés, boutiques and tall old houses. There are some beautiful sandy bays and rocky coves nearby including Porto Pollo, Abbartello and Campomoro. |
