The Hotel Accommodation

The Chia Laguna offers guests the choice of many sporting facilities for those wishing to be active or the space and tranquillity to relax, for couples and families alike. There is a feature swimming pool with poolside bar and two further pools set amongst the cottage rooms.

A range of watersports are available from the beach including sailing, windsurfing, waterskiing, canoeing and scuba diving (all extra cost). Other activities (extra cost) include five-a-side football, beach volleyball and there is a gym. Owned and run by the hotel is an 18 hole pitch and putt golf course for guests use with clubhouse, golf shop and instruction available (extra cost). There is also a beauty centre for facials and massage (extra cost).

From the main reception, the resort operates a land train shuttle service to the golf course and the beach, approximately 700 metres away, throughout the day. A few minutes ride takes you to the edge of the sand dunes with a decked pathway leading to the beautiful white sandy Campana beach with clear sea, ideal for swimming and snorkelling.

Sunbeds and parasols (free from third row), beach towels and showers are available for guests use and there is a snack bar on the beach and Le Dune restaurant for lunch (extra cost). In the evening from May to September, guests can enjoy light music entertainment in the Piazza whilst visiting the small boutiques, shops and gelateria.

Chia Village Accommodation
Situated in the grounds of the hotel are 300 Cottage rooms, decorated and furnished in traditional Sardinian style, all with en suite shower room with hairdryer, air conditioning, satellite TV (news channels only in English) minibar, safe, internet access (extra cost) and telephone.  There are different room types to suit your family or party:

Classic: Double/twin (no garden) on first floor
Garden: Double/twin with extra bed on request (small shared garden)
Superior Garden: Double/twin with extra bed on request (small private garden and patio)
Family Classic, Garden and Superior: All with 2 rooms with mezzanine floor sleeping 4 persons (garden arrangements as above).

Please note: For families of 5, two rooms must be booked, some interconnect – early booking advised.

Great for Families
Chia Laguna offers very good facilities for families with children of all ages. There is a dedicated children’s play area with large children’s pool, shaded area, soft play area with toys and games and lots of activities and entertainments.

There is a complimentary mini club for children between 3 and 12 years old, a junior club for older children between 13 and 17 years old (some activities free, some extra cost) and a nursery for babies and toddlers up to 2 years old (extra charge approximately 15 euros per hour). Babysitting may be pre-booked and paid for locally.

The English speaking staff will arrange activities, games, sports and tournaments to keep the children happy and entertained. They will also help at meal times in the reserved area for children in the Bouganville Restaurant (lunch extra cost).

The Restaurants & Bars
The quality and variety of the food is a real feature and Italian, local and international cuisine can be enjoyed in the different restaurants of the resort.

Bouganville Restaurant offering a buffet breakfast and grand buffet dinner for guests staying in the Cottage rooms.  There is a reserved area for children with a special children’s menu.   Alternatively, guests with half board can take advantage of the dine around option enabling them to carry food credit which can be used against dinners in other resort restaurants including:

Pizzeria in the Piazza open in the evenings (on reservation) specialising in wood oven pizzas.
Le Terrazza Restaurant at Hotel Laguna offering à la carte dinner with an al fresco dining terrace with lovely views to the sea (on reservation, supplement).
Le Dune di Campana snack bar and restaurant at the beach open for lunch (extra cost) and for dinner (on reservation, supplement). For 2010, this includes a complimentary glass of wine, beer, water or soft drink at dinner.
Poolside snack bar open for lunch and all day for drinks (extra cost).

There are 6 bars in the resort including a lounge bar, terrace bar, poolside bar, cocktail bar, beach bar, and gelateria with fine homemade ice creams.

There is also The Luna, a multi purpose complex which has an elegant bar, restaurant, pizzeria and late night music situated within a walled garden and open to the stars at night, ideal for an evening nightcap.

The opening of bars, restaurants and entertainment may vary at the management’s discretion.

Chia & Pula
The small village of Domus de Maria is nearby and Chia is approximately 5km away. The charming town of Pula with a selection of shops, café bars, pizzerias and restaurants is approximately 15km away. The 27 hole Is Molas Golf Course is approximately 17km from the hotel. Stunning scenery with beaches, sand dunes and beautiful lagoons, sheltered by mountains, surrounds the hotel with views of the Tower of Chia and the ruins of the Phoenician city of Bithia nearby.
