The Hotel Accommodation

Maison Tresnuraghes is an ‘Albergo Diffuso’ (hotel split into different buildings), consisting of two old houses superbly restored to offer modern comforts and set around lovely gardens. 

There are 11 guest rooms: 3 suites with double bedroom and lounge area with double sofa bed (suitable for 3/4), 5 double rooms and 3 single rooms. They are all spacious, bright and tastefully decorated in contemporary style, some with a small balcony overlooking the gardens or the historical centre, and some situated on the ground floor in the gardens with furnished terrace. All the rooms have air conditioning, en suite shower room with hairdryer, satellite TV,  minibar, safe and internet access.

The Facilities

The entrance to the hotel is directly from the street leading directly into the reception lounge offering hotel services and local information. The interior of the hotel has been restored to its original appearance with granite stairs lead to the guest rooms on the 1^st and 2^nd floors and to the rooftop solarium with sunbeds and views over the rooftops to the Malvasia vineyards and the sea beyond. 

Outside there is a breakfast room with Italian and Chinese antique furniture offering a continental style buffet with local breads, pastries, cakes, jams, honey and local fruits. 

The pretty walled garden has flowering shrubs, fruit trees and an ancient well still in working order. There is a water feature, gazebos with tables and deckchairs and a relax area where you can read or enjoy the peaceful atmosphere.

As an Albergo Disffuso (making use of the local history and culture by renovating existing structures, serving local cuisine, using products of the region and employing residents), Maison Tresnuraghes gives the opportunity for guests to stay in local houses and be in contact with the local population and their culture, therefore having an authentic experience of living within the community. 

There is a pizzeria in Tresnuraghes and a few restaurants in neighbouring villages for guests to dine out and sample the local cuisine. Excursions can be organised for guests to go wine tasting, visit local archaeological sites, play golf, hire watersports, go horse riding, biking or bird watching.

Tresnuraghes

The character town of Tresnuraghes stands on the hillside overlooking the sea, the bay of Bosa and the hills of Montiferru. It is near many picturesque villages, 5km from the beach of Alabe, 9km from the charming medieval town of Bosa with good restaurants and bars, and approximately 50km from both Oristano to the south and the historic town of Alghero to the north. 

The town derives its name from the 3 nuraghi that originally stood in the town centre, two have collapsed but there are some traces of the remains of the third.
