The Hotel Accommodation
Built just 2 years ago in the design of a small village, the hotel has just 17 guest rooms arranged around the Mediterranean style gardens, piazzetta and swimming pool. In keeping with local architectural style, the rooms are given a warm and simple flavour through the use of natural materials, Sardinian soft furnishings and handicrafts from nearby Teulada.All the rooms are doubles (with the option of a third bed) and have a terrace with small garden, en suite bathroom with separate shower, air conditioning, flat screen satellite TV, hairdryer, minibar and safe. It is possible to make a family suite with two connecting rooms and one bathroom. Beach towels and bathrobes are available on request (extra cost).
The Facilities
The hotel is set in immaculate gardens with flowers and olive trees and a freshwater swimming pool in a quiet corner, with a hydro massage area, surrounded by a terrace with sun loungers. Guests can relax and enjoy a drink sitting by the pool or in the piazzetta with live music on some evenings.
The hotel restaurant offers a continental style buffet breakfast and in the evening either a set menu, à la carte dinner or typical Sardinian cuisine with table service.
There is a 24 hour reception with hotel and local information and internet point (extra cost). A shuttle service runs to and from the closest beach and local harbour (extra cost) and the hotel also organises excursions and boat trips to the stunning Gulf of Teulada with white sand beaches and electric blue sea, ideal for swimming and snorkelling.
Teulada & Local Area
The small town of Teulada is about 4km from the hotel and 4km inland from the Costa del Sud in the south of Sardinia. It has a variety of shops, supermarket, pizzeria, restaurants and cafe bars. There are sculptures dotted around the streets from an annual exhibition in June - September when sculptors visit the town from all over the world to create from local marble or granite. The town is known for its handicrafts including embroidery, tapestry, cork and terracotta pipes.
The Costa del Sud stretches west from the southern tip of Capo Spartivento, with a 20km scenic coastal drive to Porto Teulada. Golfo di Teulada has indented bays with Spanish watch-towers with swimming possible from the rocks or small stretches of sand. Capo Malfatano has wonderful views, Tuerredda is a popular stopping point with bar and pizzeria and a corner of paradise with its soft, pure white sand and crystal clear sea and Porto Teulada has a beach and small jetty for boats with a snack bar and dinghies, canoes and pedaloes for hire.

The secluded S’acqua Sassa is a delightful small Mediterranean style hotel aimed at those wishing for a relaxing holiday away from it all. The staff are helpful and the hotel is spotlessly clean and tidy. The location is very peaceful and the delightful guest rooms all have their own little garden in which to watch the sunset before enjoying a typical Sardinian dinner in the hotel restaurant.
Car hire is essential for getting out and about as this hotel is a great base for exploring the stunning Costa del Sud with some of the most beautiful beaches on the island.
