The Hotel Accommodation
There are 33 double/twin or triple guest rooms on 3 floors serviced by a lift. All the rooms have a bath or shower room, satellite TV, hairdryer and a balcony, some with partial sea/pool views (supplement). Room safes, cots and air conditioning are available (extra cost).
The Facilities
The hotel is accessed through the gardens leading to the hotel reception offering hotel and local information. There is a bar with lounge area and dining room. The swimming pool, children’s pool and jacuzzi are in front of the hotel, with terrace and sunbeds surrounded by flowering shrubs and vines providing shade. There is also an outside shaded dining terrace overlooking the pool.
The Restaurant
The restaurant offers a continental style breakfast buffet and an à la carte dinner menu (extra cost) featuring excellent home cooked Italian cuisine, Sardinian specialities and a choice of local wines served in either the air conditioned dining room or, during fine weather, around the pool.
Alghero
Hotel La Playa is situated 100m from the white sandy beach stretching from the port to Fertilia (approx. 5km) with sunbeds and parasols to hire. The hotel is well located for restaurants and pizzerias and it is about a 20 minute walk to the port and old town, or the bus stops outside the hotel.

Hotel La Playa is a typical family run hotel with friendly service, good home cooking, pool and gardens in a convenient location, just 100m from the beach.
We recommend half board (extra cost) to take advantage of the hotel restaurant. It is ideal for couples and families as a base to relax by the pool, go to the beach and explore the old town of Alghero.
