The hotel was an ancient country house constructed in the 18 ^th century which has been completely renovated and designed to offer modern accommodation. There are 22 guest rooms located on ground and first floor of the courtyard and on the first floor of the main hotel building. The rooms are spacious and well furnished, some with wooden beamed ceilings, and all have en suite shower room, air conditioning, telephone, satellite TV, minibar, safe and hairdryer.

The apartments are located on the ground floor near the pool.

They each have a welcoming outdoor furnished veranda, inside the living area is bright with natural tones and has a sofa bed and a modern kitchenette, double bedroom, cloakroom and bright bathroom with a large shower.

Guests are able to use the hotel services such as a restaurant, bar, spa and other activities (some extra cost).

The hotel bar and restaurant (open May-October, 6 days a week) has a lovely patio on which to relax and savour the view over the valley whilst enjoying a buffet breakfast, cocktails, aperitifs and snacks. The small restaurant serves local produce with the menu depending on the season including typical Sardinian dishes and local wines. The restaurant offers snacks during the day and a wine bar with tapas in the evening. Twice a week the restaurant serves a typical Algherese style fish menu and one traditional Sardinian meat option, the rest of the week an a la carte menu is available.

In front of the hotel is the swimming pool and terrace with sunbeds. The hotel runs Yoga classes (extra cost) and there are two tennis courts (extra cost) with floodlights and tuition/clinics available for both adults and children (extra cost). There is also a horse riding centre locally (extra cost).

The reception offers hotel and local information, laundry service and can book babysitting, car hire and excursions on request including boat trips (June-October), 4x4 rides (April-June and September-October) and horse riding (lessons or rides in the countryside (extra cost).

The spa centre gives guests the opportunity to relax in the jacuzzi, sauna, steam cave and to book a range of massage and beauty treatments (all extra cost).

Alghero Resort Country Hotel is situated in the countryside yet just 3km from Alghero town and beach and 12km from the airport. Buzzing with life all year round, Alghero itself offers a great selection of shops, café bars, restaurants and pizzerias. 

The charming old town with fortified walls, ramparts and lookout towers has a Spanish/Catalan influence and an interesting history to discover. There are daily boat trips to Capo Caccia and Neptune’s Caves from the port and a long white sandy beach stretching from the town to Fertilia, approximately 5km.
