The Hotel Accommodation
The hotel was an ancient dwelling constructed in the 18th century which has been completely renovated and designed to offer modern accommodation. There are 22 guest rooms located on ground and first floor of the courtyard and on the first floor of the main hotel building.
There is the choice of Classic double/twin rooms, Deluxe rooms sleeping up to 3, Junior Suites and Suites for 2 adults and 2 children. The rooms are spacious and well furnished, some with wooden beamed ceilings, and all have en suite shower room, air conditioning, telephone, satellite TV, minibar, safe and hairdryer.
The Facilities
The hotel bar and restaurant has a lovely patio on which to relax and savour the view over the valley whilst enjoying a buffet breakfast, cocktails, aperitifs and dinner in the evening (Friday-Sunday only, November-March). The chefs create different daily menus using locally grown seasonal produce to offer guests Sardinian specialties and regional cuisine.
In front of the hotel is the swimming pool with jacuzzi and terrace with sunbeds. There are two tennis courts with floodlights and tuition/clinics available for both adults and children (extra cost). There is also a horse riding centre locally (extra cost).
The reception offers hotel and local information, laundry service and can book babysitting, car hire and excursions on request. There is WiFi in the main hotel building.
The spa centre gives guests the opportunity to relax in the jacuzzi, sauna, steam cave and to book a range of massage and beauty treatments (all extra cost) or keep fit in the fitness area.
Alghero
Alghero Resort Country Hotel is situated in the countryside yet just 3km from Alghero town and beach and 12km from the airport. Buzzing with life all year round, Alghero itself offers a great selection of shops, café bars, restaurants and pizzerias. The charming old town with fortified walls, ramparts and lookout towers has a Spanish/Catalan influence and an interesting history to discover. There are daily boat trips to Capo Caccia and Neptune’s Caves from the port and a long white sandy beach stretching from the town to Fertilia, approximately 5km.

Newly opened in 2009 this small resort style hotel which will appeal to discerning couples and families looking for contemporary style accommodation in the peace and tranquility of the countryside, yet within easy reach of the town and beach.
It is an ideal base to relax by the pool and in the spa, with the option of a game of tennis or horseriding in the countryside. Car hire is essential to see more of the local area and visit the colourful town of Alghero.
